    Our website is a “Work in Progress”. We’re continually trying to enhance and refine the website but we’re also updating the server while trying to improve the experience overall for everyone who visits us. We try and test all aspects and potential issues but occasionally some things may slip through the cracks or in other cases, just having another set of eyes on the project will give us a head’s up and make us aware of something that needs to get fixed.

    If you notice a bug with our website or if something isn’t displaying correctly, any LuvMyRecipe community member can post here in this thread to let us know the problem being experienced. We’ll try to keep up with the issues and will update this thread when there is an update to the specific issue posted here.

    Most fixes have to be implemented on top of an already filled website agenda. Some issues will take time to fix. Thank you in advance for your patience and thank you for taking the time to inform us. It’s greatly appreciated.

      I noticed we can’t create groups anymore. Has that been removed? Is that coming back? I’m kind of a coffee fiend. I had thought that when site membership was enabled again we’d have the ability to create groups like before. I didn’t have a group before, but I was genuinely thinking of creating a group for coffee lovers. When I saw the site was coming back up, I thought I’d share my coffee recipes with those that really want coffee recipes through a new coffee lovers group. Are these features coming back?

      Hello FlockJaw, Welcome back.

      We have removed the ability to create groups for the time being. There were a couple issues on the back end with the updates we had planned so we put “groups” on the back burner and it’s been there ever since. Currently, there is only one public group available to join and that’s the LuvMyRecipe Public Group. Users who join this public group will be added to our newsletter email list and be eligible to join our LuvMyRecipe Beta group (no longer taking participants).

      There are no plans currently to bring back private groups for users.

      However, your “Coffee Lovers” group has us talking about the subject again…

        I noticed the avatars aren’t showing with the comments for the individual recipes any longer.

        The templates have changed for the comments… we’ll be adding the avatars back along with a few new features. Stay Tuned!

          Hate to be a pain, but I have two sections in my profile that both say recipes and they both have a different list of my recipes. They are my recipes but they are divided up as two different sections but say the same thing, “Recipes”. Any word on when the new recipe forms will be ready for everyone?

          No worries. That’s what this section is for. I don’t believe everyone is having this problem though. Only users that have access to the new templates through our beta group (like yourself) should see an additional section in their “My Recipes and Posts” tab from their profile. The new templates will create another section but if you had previously used the old recipe forms, then those recipes will be listed under their own section as well.

          Hmmm, after checking, the problem here is they’re labeled the same (Recipes). We’ll either label the sections differently or just combine them into one section. We’ve added this to our list. Thanks Hash.

            “Latest Posts” links not working.

            Thanks Sparky, we’re on it. It seems “The Feed” page is also not working. I’m guessing because it’s a variation of the latest posts page but we’ll know better when we dive in. We’ll be looking at this today and hopefully will have a fix by tonight or the weekend. We’ve removed the menu items for the feed temporarily.

            Latest Posts” and “My-Feed” pages should be working as normal now. The fix should hold. We’ll be working further on “My-Feed” through the weekend but the page should work as expected and as normal while we’re testing in the background.
